DNA extraction and purification
Research genomic DNA, plasmid or bacmid DNA, viral DNA, and DNA cleanup workflows with attention to integrity, inhibitor removal, yield, and downstream amplification or cloning.
VexisBio provides sample-specific nucleic acid extraction, purification, cleanup, concentration, and quality-control support. Each project begins with the sample type and downstream application so the resulting DNA or RNA is prepared for PCR, qPCR, RT-qPCR, sequencing, cloning, transfection, or another agreed research use.

DNA and RNA quality depends on more than total yield. Sample composition, nuclease exposure, inhibitors, fragment size, cellular or extracellular origin, and the next analytical step determine the appropriate workflow.
Research genomic DNA, plasmid or bacmid DNA, viral DNA, and DNA cleanup workflows with attention to integrity, inhibitor removal, yield, and downstream amplification or cloning.
Total RNA or target-appropriate RNA workflows designed to limit degradation and prepare material for RT-qPCR, sequencing, expression analysis, or other research applications.
Concentration, buffer exchange, and removal of proteins, salts, enzymes, phenol, guanidinium, or other contaminants from existing DNA or RNA preparations.
Acceptance depends on sample state, quantity, biosafety classification, shipping conditions, and requested output. Contact VexisBio before shipping biological material.
The chemistry and QC panel are selected for the project. Method choice may include membrane, magnetic-bead, precipitation, organic-extraction, or other sample-appropriate workflows.
| Stage | Typical work | Output |
|---|---|---|
| Sample and use review | Define sample, storage, biosafety, target nucleic acid, downstream assay, and acceptance needs. | Recommended workflow and sample requirements. |
| Pilot or method selection | Evaluate lysis, purification, recovery, and inhibitor control where needed. | Pilot results and selected method. |
| Sample processing | Process agreed samples with research-scope contamination controls and sample tracking. | Purified DNA or RNA. |
| QC and delivery | Perform contracted concentration, purity, integrity, or fitness-for-use checks. | Research material, QC results, and handling guidance. |
Do not ship biological samples until acceptance and shipping instructions are confirmed.
Clinical testing, diagnostic reporting, and regulated chain-of-custody services are not implied unless separately reviewed and contracted.
Send the sample type, number of samples, target nucleic acid, downstream application, quality requirements, and timeline for an initial scope review.
